After bilateral total knee replacements seven weeks prior to The National Fieldays I thought I would miss the event but the opportunity to use the Breeze C Scooter from Elite Scooters Ltd enabled me to attend. I found it very simple to use and maneuver among the crowds and exhibits and it had ample power for the situation. I particularly enjoyed the swivel seat which made getting on and off easier, and the basket was ideal for storage. I later tried an un-governed unit and was impressed with the available speed.
All the Elite Scooters Ltd staff were helpful, friendly and enthusiastic and I thank you for the experience.

Me and my daughter on my new scooter. The side by side seating allows me to be independent. I use it for tasks in my home town. It has opened up a whole life which I thought I had lost!
The scooter is useful for carrying things like when I go shopping, I use it for trips to the playgrounds with my daughter and visits to family and friends in my hometown.
It means I do not have to rely on others for transport, I can live my own life.

I have attached the brochure of one National company that I would recommend for the engineering quality and safety aspects of having used their scooter and after compared them with different other models including my own would be happy to recommend. I feel our Field Officer Team need to be able to recommend models which meet the needs and safety of their clients so they don’t end up stuck with an unsuitable scooter. Too many stroke people are choosing mobility scooters not suitable for them and there are quite a few cheap inferior models being marketed around the country at the moment where the quality and safety features can leave much to be desired.

After an article in the Waikato Times about the cost of taxi fares I calculated that I have saved about $6,000 in the first year of owning my scooter. I use my scooter most days in all weather as I have the model with the canopy. The internal program has recorded over 150 hours of riding that is about 2000 kms. I can go where I want, when I want. The comfort and performance of the scooter was an important consideration when I decided to buy the Afikim Breeze S.

Mobility is right! These nifty little scooters are fabulous in getting from A to B in no time.
The change in speed dial helps you not to leave a bunch of corpses in your wake I think I've been noticed zapping around 'cos one of my Pols lecturers said one day, "Oh and watch out for this one! If you see them picking up bodies along the way then you know that Gloria's been through here on her mobility scooter."
He spoke in jest of course because I am always at the lowest speed around the people, but when the way is clear I will pick up the pace to get to my next lecture on time. I've won several scholarships each year and I couldn't have done it without this wonderful utility and the great care that I get from Marg and Debbie from Disabilities in ensuring that I have it at my disposal anytime that my own mobility is failing me. I would definitely recommend the Breeze C 3 wheel mobility scooter

My scooter gave me a new lease of life after the severe stroke several years ago. I use my Breeze mobility scooter around the farm and take it on a tail lift ramp on the back of the car when we go out. I would be lost without it. I have driven my Breeze C scooter around the base of Mount Maunganui and I took the scooter on holiday to Thailand with me. I was able to go out and about and see more that I had done on previous holidays.

I use my scooter to go out whenever I want, it took me a little while to get used to the controls but now I am confident and love visiting people especially my family. The canopy means I am warm whatever the weather.

After intensive research on the Internet, I found the ultimate golf buggy. The Breeze C4 from Elite scooters. Before making the big decision. I contacted Robyn from Elite scooters to talk all about the Breeze C4. This scooter is in the mid range and can be used inside or out. I was impressed with her depth of knowledge. My concerns were that, was the Breeze C4 robust enough for a long 18-hole golf course?
My favourite machine is attacking the Southland golf club with ease in all conditions. It runs very quietly and is extremely comfortable. Our local engineer has designed a cover for the rainy days in Southland. He is to complete the work soon. I could play 36 holes on a battery charge.
The Breeze C 4 is easy to ride with several safety features. I recommend this golf cart and would be willing to talk to anyone about any concerns. Just contact Robyn for my contact details.
